1. Wills and Bequests

Include GMOF in your Will or Trust and continue spreading the Gospel for years to come. The following information will help you and your attorney include a bequest to GOSPEL MUSIC OUTREACH FOUNDATION in your estate plan or will:

    • Official name and address: Gospel Music Outreach Foundation • Address: 2105 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin, TN 37066

    • Tax ID # 88-1106676 • Specific Bequest: Upon my death, I give, devise and bequeath _______________ (insert dollar amount or item of property to be donated) to Gospel Music Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 with US headquarters located at address, 2105 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin, TN 37066   for Gospel Music Outreach Foundation general use and purpose.

    • Residuary Bequest: Upon my death, I give, devise and bequeath _______________ (insert % amount) of all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 with US headquarters: 2105 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin, TN 37066 for The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation.

    • Restricted Gift (Specific or Residuary) Bequest: Upon my death, I give, devise and bequeath _______________ (insert dollar amount, item of property or % of residue) to The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 with US headquarters located at 2105 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin, TN 37075 to be used for the purpose of sharing the Gospel in concerts ______________(fill in location). In the event the purposes of the restriction, in the opinion of the Board of Directors of The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation, can no longer be served, the Board may devote any remaining assets exclusively for The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation general use and purpose.

2. Gifts of Real Estate

     How it Works:

    • You deed your home, commercial building, rental property, vacation     home, undeveloped property, etc., to Gospel Music Outreach Foundation.     Benefits: • You receive an income tax deduction for the fair market value     of the real estate at the time of the transfer.

    • You pay no capital gains tax on the transfer.

    • You may be able to use the asset to fund a gift plan that will pay you

income, such as a charitable unitrust.

How to Make a Real Estate Gift When you are considering a gift of real estate, there are two things to remember:

        1. GMOF will review your generous offer and evaluate the condition and marketability of the proposed real estate to ascertain that the donation is risk-free and appropriate for all parties involved.

        2. The IRS requires donors of real estate to obtain an independent appraisal to establish the fair market value of the property to be donated. Contact us if you need further assistance: office@gmof.org.

How it Works:

    • Name The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified plan.

    • Designate GMOF to receive all or a portion of the balance of your plan through your plan administrator.

    • After your passing, the balance of your plan passes to The Gospel Music Outreach Foundation. Benefits: • Avoid the double taxation your retirement savings would incur if you designated your heir as beneficiary.

    • You may continue to take lifetime withdrawals.

    • This is a revocable transaction and you may revoke GMOF as beneficiary should your family needs change.

3. How to Make a Retirement Plan Gift Your retirement fund can be taxed up to 80% if passed on to heirs, but it’s tax-free if given to charity. If you name GMOF as the beneficiary of your retirement plan, since we are a qualified 501 (c)(3), we will not pay income tax on your distribution, unlike your heirs. You may then use other assets not subject to income tax to make gifts to heirs, thereby easing the burden of extra taxes. Make checks payable to GOSPEL MUSIC OUTREACH FOUNDATION and send to: GMOF 2105 Cages Bend Rd., Gallatin, TN 37066
